I think that the best part about college is when it's finished. Okay, I'm not totally serious here; so much fun, good, challenging, and memorable... happened during those four years. I wouldn't trade that time for anything. But, I have to say, what I'm doing now is really great. Two weeks after graduation, I'm still in the area with many of my fellow graduates/friends. It's like college minus the classes and deadlines. Granted, there are jobs, job applications, and other tasks to keep us busy still, but it's a pretty darned laid back lifestyle. I like it a lot.

Now, I get to fill my days with whatever floats my boat:

I can jog whenever I want to... or not.

I can take a first aid/CPR class if I want to.

I can leave town for a few days without warning... Atlanta, Florida, D.C.

I can sign up for the Global Health Council's week-long annual conference in Washington, D.C., something that probably won't fit in easily any other time in my life.

I can go out for drinks with friends at the drop of a hat.

I can drink soda pop all the day long, or abstain.

I can go for a hike and jump in a creek.

I can clean the house, or watch movies, plant a garden, play with my neighbors' dogs, go shopping, dig into a few good books, or whatever else I want!

This is nice. Short-lived, but very nice for now.
